According to Stellenbosch University's plagiarism policy​, Master's and doctoral students must submit their thesis or dissertation to Turnitin (or a similar similarity detector) before submitting it for examination. We recommend that postgraduates use a Turnitin sandbox or playground. This is a safe space to submit your research paper or thesis drafts - your work is compared to the extensive Turnitin database without going into the Turnitin repository. A sanbox thus allows you to submit your refined draft multiple times to improve your academic writing. For access to our Turnitin sandbox log in to SUNLearn (learn.sun.ac.za) and then click on this link​.
