Program

The 2021 Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded to Syukuro Manabe, Klaus Hasselmann and Giorgio Parisi “for groundbreaking contributions to our understanding of complex systems".

Speaker: Prof Kristian Müller-Nedebock, Department of Physics

The 2021 Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded to Benjamin List and David MacMillan for “an ingenious tool for building molecules".

Speaker: Prof Gareth Arnott, Department of Chemistry and Polymer Science

The 2021 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was awarded to David Julius and Ardem Patapoutian for their discovery of “receptors for temperature and touch".

Speaker: Prof Ben Loos, Department of Physiological Science
