“Worker struggles framed within growing unemployment in South Africa"

Dr Edward Cottle (Postdoctoral Fellow, SWOP Institute)

Dr Eddie Cottle is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Society, Work and Politics Institute (SWOP), Wits University. He is the former head of the Collective Bargaining Unit at the Labour Research Service and was the Policy and Campaigns Officer for the Building and Wood Workers' International (BWI), Africa and Middle East Region.

Mr Karl Cloete (Community activist)

Karl Cloete has had a long career as a community activist in the field of labour relations and a champion for workers' rights.  Early in his career, Cloete worked as a fieldworker and researcher for the Churches' Urban Planning Commission.
