The Division Student Affairs is aware of and acknowledges requests received to amend the Residence Rules to allow visitors during the national lockdown. These Rules, which prevent the spread of COVID-19 on our campuses and ensure safe management of residences, are continuously reassessed. No visitors will be allowed until such a time that it is safe and responsible to amend the Rules.
We understand that the many months of restrictions has diverse effects on all of us. However, it remains our joint responsibility to keep our campus accommodation safe for all residents. If you are visiting friends or family or going to public places, please keep in mind that the wearing of masks, regular sanitising and social distancing are mandatory. Level 1 national regulations require that we follow safety protocols at all times (on and off-campus) to ensure a safe campus community for all.
