Earth Science Research Projects were presented and defended last week completing our year 2021. 2021 was again a difficult year, but the class persevered and committed to learn despite the frequent changes in teaching formats. The research projects showed an amazing variety of new skills developed and successfully applied. It is fantastic to see how far these young researchers have come since their first year at SU. We wish them all the best for their future endeavours.
Two students finished top of the class with >80% final Programme mark: Katrien Wassenaar (Applied Geology stream) and Brynn Hunink (Environmental Geochemistry stream). Congratulations for this outstanding achievement!
