The Department of Economics at Stellenbosch University invites you to an online celebration to commemorate the Department’s centenary.
The online event, scheduled for 9 October from 13:30 to 16:00, will include a panel discussion with South Africa’s Minister of Finance (and Honorary Professor), Mr Tito Mboweni, about the future of the South African economy. The event will conclude with a talk by 2019 Nobel Laureate Abhijit Banerjee, Professor of Economics at MIT, on ‘Good Economics in Hard Times’.
The event is free but requires pre-registration.
