Decoloniality is often met with criticism that it is “too theoretical". This workshop aims to provide inroads into the theory and practice of decoloniality. It also aims to assist participants to explore what the values central to decoloniality may mean in their own work. The workshop includes a practical, critical reflexive exploration of decoloniality, using visual methodologies. By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to a) understand and briefly overview core theoretical constructs central to decoloniality b) have a clear(er) understanding of values central to decolonial thinking c) how to implement those values towards systemic change in their own work.
