The 2022 Annual Youth Day lecture is taking place on Friday 20 May from 9:00 to 12:30 in the Attie van Wijk auditorium at the Faculty of Theology. The Youth Day lecture is an annual event hosted by the Faculty of Theology, and this year the Transformation Office and Language Centre collaborated in its planning and execution. 

The theme for this year is 1976 to 2022: Student experiences of language in higher education. Prof Mbulungeni Madiba, dean of the Faculty of Education and expert on multilingualism, is the keynote speaker. Various student leaders will take part in the panel discussion.
