​The Stellenbosch University Museum invites you to a discussion on: “Museums in a post-Covid world"

Ms Bonita Bennett (Research Associate, District Six Museum)

Bonita Bennett is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Pretoria and a research associate at the District Six Museum in Cape Town, South Africa, where her work focuses on exploring the fault lines between memory and heritage. She has been the Museum's director for 12 years, and previously headed its archives.

Ms Annemies Broekgaarden (Head: Education and Public Programmes, Rijksmuseum)

Annemies Broekgaarden started her career as the head of the Tropenmuseum Junior in 1999. Her skills in communication, management, international project management, and cultural anthropology eventually led her to the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Annemies is part of the management team of the Rijksmuseum and responsible for education, interpretation, academic programmes, diversity and inclusion, and digital learning.
