The Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences have several Social Impact and Transformation-related activities planned for 2020, including two gender enrichment workshops.
These workshops fall within the broader domain of the Faculty's collective and inclusive transformation. The key aim is to advance interactive ways of sharing knowledge and addressing the different needs and priorities of women, men and marginalised communities in our midst.
The focus is on cross-cutting gender issues, sensitive concepts and creative strategies that impact on the work environment. It is based on a foundation of mutual respect and dignity; a welcoming atmosphere without fear, prejudice or discrimination; and teamwork centred on trust and collaboration towards a common vision for the Faculty.
