The Alumni Relations Division in collaboration with the Frederik van Zyl Slabbert Institute for Student Leadership Development will be hosting a series of discourse cafés on topical issues. These discussions form part of Homecoming 2019 and take place from 5 to 7 March at the Visual Arts Quad on the Stellenbosch Campus.

Perfectionism, toxic environmental factors, an unbalanced lifestyle and the constant pressure to achieve can ultimately take their toll.

The focus falls on student leadership in higher education. Is there greater pressure on modern leaders and why? How do leaders manage their health? How do leaders manage the health of their teams? What are the factors that prevent modern leaders from asking for help in time?
