The internationally recognised qualification of Chartered Management Accountant is obtained by passing the examination set by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in London. 

​Our modules for the BComHons (Management Accounting) comply with the CIMA requirements. Students who have obtained this BComHons after completing a BCom (Management Accounting) degree at Stellenbosch University are currently exempted from at least nine of CIMA's fourteen examinations (at CIMA's discretion). 

​ The MCom (Management Accounting) programme only permits a limited number of students.​​​
