Laboratory Accreditation

The Stellenbosch University Immunology Laboratory is a South African National Accreditation System (SANAS) ISO 15189 accredited laboratory with Facility Accreditation Number M0498.

The accreditation currently demonstrates technical competency for Quantiferon TB Gold (in-tube method), ELISpot Assay-T. Spot TB, and Luminex Multiplex ELISA Assays,  as well as for operation of a laboratory quality management system. Our laboratory is currently working towards including flow cytometry, as well as GeneXpert testing to this scope.
