Mission

Our mission is to:

• Manage an effective and integrated quality management system in the University through three interrelated sub-sets: academic planning, quality assurance, and programme review and renewal.
  
• Build reciprocal relationships with academic and support staff, and students.
  
• Provide informed, context-specific support and advice.​
  
• Liaise, on behalf of the University, with external higher education bodies, including the Council on Higher Education (CHE), Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), Universities South Africa (USAf) and the Cape Higher Education Consortium (CHEC).
  
• Pursue a scholarly approach.
