Stellenbosch Papers in Linguistics accepts submissions on all aspects of linguistics (both formal and applied), and Stellenbosch Papers in Linguistics Plus (i) focuses non-exclusively on linguistic topics that broadly have to do with Afrikaans, (ii) is used for the publication of monographs, and (iii) is often approached to serve as a vehicle for the publication of conference proceedings by a variety of institutions and departments with a linguistic connection.
The two journals are increasingly the preferred forum for linguistic publications in South Africa.
