Welcome to Stellenbosch University

SUBG Advisory Committee

With our work and impact growing rapidly from 2023, SUBG established an external Advisory Committee in late 2024 to ensure we stay on task as efficiently and effectively as possible. Our committee represents our most active academic partners within Stellenbosch University, and key external partners: Prof. Brockington as head of our partner garden Cambridge University Botanical Garden can provide key insights into everything from strategic work focus to funding mechanisms, while Domitilla Raimondo currently represents our key partnership with the South African and global Threatened Plant assessment and recovery programmes. We meet at least every three months to review progress, direction and strategy.
