I was shocked by the unprofessional conduct by Mr Steven Adams when he received a complaint from my line manager, Prof Vasti Roodt in September 2022. I was summoned to a disciplinary hearing without any chance to respond to the charges. In the PDF that was sent ro me, the correspondence between Prof Roodt and Mr Adams was included, which showed Mr Adams's clear bias towards my line manager. In the PDF it was also clear that my colleague (who had submitted an irregular budget behind my back in 2016) had made comments in the document.
