The Wood App is South Africa’s leading educational platform for design and use of wood products. The Wood App was initiated and developed by local wood specialists for local wood fans! Online courses are available to ALL wood users and designers and is accredited by the SA Institute for Architects. Each course should take about 2.5 hours to complete, including a short quiz.
VISION: To inspire and support local developers, designers, contractors and DIY’ers to use wood
MISSION: To offer relevant, accessible, and practical information on the use of wood in constructions in South Africa
AIM: To guide designers towards local wood standards, materials and best practice.
