Electrical Machine Laboratory
The Electrical Machine Laboratory undertakes research, design, and development of both conventional and special electrical machines and drives.
Researchers have been working together on a series of design and development projects, including:
- Battery-powered EV drive trains
- Reluctance and IPM traction motor drives
- Multi-phase Induction motor drive
- PM and Non-PM wind generator drives
- Design and control of Brushless DFIG drives
