Revised Standard Operating Procedures for the Research Ethics Committee: Social, Behavioural and Education Research
The Research Ethics Committee: Human Research (Humanities) has rebranded itself as the REC: Social, Behavioural and Education Research (REC: SBE) in order to better distinguish its scope and mandate from the SU Health Research Ethics Committees (HRECs). The name change follows a revision of the standard operating procedures (SOP) of the REC: SBE that would provide clearer guidance on the scope, function and requirements for REC review.

For more information about the SOP and the REC: SBE, please contact the REC coordinator, Ms Clarissa Graham at cgraham@sun.ac.za or 021 808 9183.
