Do you have what it takes to be a Rhodes Scholar?
The Rhodes Scholarships are targeted at young South Africans, aged 19-24 years (with a special accommodation made for MBChB/MBBCh graduates) who are academically talented, display proven leadership skills and have a commitment to making a difference in their own community and beyond. The scholarship funds postgraduate degrees (Master’s and doctoral degrees) at Oxford University. These scholarships are fully funded for two years of study, and are inclusive (race, gender, religious affiliation, course of study, and financial need are not criteria for the Rhodes Scholarship.

Department of Modern Foreign Languages
In collaboration with the Stellenbosch University International (part of GEP courses- Global Education Programmes), the Department of Modern Foreign Languages offers beginners' evening classes in French, German, Spanish and Chinese. The introduction of Arabic language evening course is also being planned. The courses take place during the semester and are intended for those who have very little or no knowledge of the language.
