Is SU for YOU?

Visiting Stellenbosch University campus is one of the best ways to know if it is right for you.

If you are considering applying for undergraduate admission to Stellenbosch University, it will be our pleasure to have you (and your family) on campus for a day of activities tailored to your interests.

Select from one of the following 2 options:

1.  Individual visit

Appointments: Dial *120*1536# on your cell phone and follow the instructions.

The Centre for Student Recruitment (CSR) offers information sessions and tours during the following times (for most part of the year, including school holidays):

Fridays 10:00 – 11:00; 11:00 – 12:00; 14:00 – 15:00; 15:00 – 16:00

Arrivals: Visitor parking is available at our office. All information sessions and campus tours meet and depart from the Centre for Student Recruitment (CSR): 45 Victoria Street, Stellenbosch.

Information Sessions: Led by an advisor, information sessions are structured to give prospective applicants an overview of Stellenbosch University’s application process, admission criteria, financial aid system, academic organisation, and student life. Parents and students attend together and are encouraged to ask questions.

Tours: Guided by current Stellenbosch University students, tours visit the main attractions of SU’s campus and also give parents and prospective applicants a current student’s perspective of life here. A tour will automatically follow your scheduled information session. You have to indicate when making the booking whether you are interested in a campus tour or not. Due to a large number of visitors and time constraints, tours do not visit residences at any time. No tours are held over weekends.

2.  Group visits

We welcome school groups of 10 or more to campus for group visit sessions. Group visits are conducted most weekdays all year long and we recommend scheduling your visit at least two weeks in advance. We ask that no matter what grade your students are in, you keep your group size to fewer than 60 participants.

The format of these visits will be on the same principal as the individual information sessions offered.

An information session, led by an advisor, give prospective applicants of an overview of Stellenbosch University’s application process, admission criteria, financial aid system, academic organisation, and student life.

The information session will be followed by a campus tour, guided by a current SU Student, visiting the main attractions of SU’s campus to give prospective applicants a current student’s perspective of life here.

All group visits must be arranged in advance with the Centre for Student Recruitment (CSR).
