Unit for Business Ethics and Public Integrity

The Unit for Business Ethics and Public Integrity was established with the inception of the Centre for Applied Ethics in 1990. The Unit specialises in teaching and research within the broad area of business ethics, corporate responsibility, corporate governance, sustainability, professional ethics, ethics management, leadership ethics and business ethics in the African context.

The aim of the Unit is to improve the quality of ethical decision-making in a business context. It sets out to achieve this by creating critical awareness and understanding of the pertinent ethical issues that define the business landscape at both a national and an international level.
