Study with us

Postgraduate degrees

The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences offers a diverse set of postgraduate programmes in which students and Faculty engage in and publish ground-breaking research in existing and developing fields. We value postgraduate research and teaching, and integrate our offerings with the research focuses of our academic staff. You will not only gain expertise and mentorship from working with your supervisor, but could also have the opportunity to publish your work in national and international journals and to share your valuable research with the general public.

Our postgraduate degrees are a varied and well-planned set of programmes, through which we strive to produce graduates who are knowledgeable, critical thinkers. Our aim is to produce professionals capable of making an exceptional contribution to the cultural enrichment and knowledge requirements of South African and other African communities.
