This session will include a short presentation by Dr Nicola Barsdorf, SU Director for the Office of Research Integrity, which will provide an introduction to research integrity and why it is important, outline various breaches of research norms and standards and highlight Stellenbosch University's structures, policies & procedures relevant to Research Integrity and Ethics. Thereafter, the floor will be open for discussion. We encourage participants to use this opportunity to discuss and ask questions about the SU support structures in place for research integrity as well as to raise challenges and to share their experiences and opinions on research integrity.
