​​Submissions to most national research funding bodies are administrated by the Division for Research Development (DRD). These include all applications to the National Research Foundation, and others. Applications to the Medical Research Council and CANSA are administrated by the Division for Research Development and support within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

In this information session, a short overview of the main South African research funding bodies and their different grant programmes will be provided.
