Ubuntu Dialogues Seminar Exchange Fellow: Dr Nadia Sanger

Dr Nadia Sanger is senior lecturer in the Department of English Studies at Stellenbosch University. Her research interests straddle the humanities and social sciences, and include feminist studies and critical race studies in the broader sense. She holds a PhD in Women's and Gender Studies from the University of the Western Cape and a Fulbright postdoc in Women's Studies from the University of Maryland in College Park, USA.

Dr Amy Yeboah Quarkume, affectionately known as Dr A, is a daughter of Africa, scholar, data scientist, filmmaker and associate professor of Africana Studies at Howard University in Washington, DC in the USA. As a Mellon New Direction Fellow she employs an African Studies framework to examine the intersections of race, gender and technology in her publications and research.
