Prof Zimitri Erasmus (Anthropology Department, University of the Witwatersrand)

Prof Zimitri Erasmus is an Associate Professor in Anthropology at Wits University, Johannesburg. Prof Erasmus is the recipient of several international fellowships. Among her key interests are innovative, socially just pedagogies that engage writing-intensive and epistolary methods.

Prof Christi van der Westhuizen (Centre for the Advancement of Non-Racialism and Democracy, Nelson Mandela University)

Prof Christi van der Westhuizen is an author, media columnist and an associate professor at the Centre for the Advancement of Non-Racialism and Democracy (CANRAD), Nelson Mandela University. She has held fellowships at various universities, and previously worked as an Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Pretoria. Her recent research focuses on race, gender, sexuality and nationalism in colonial, apartheid and post-apartheid South Africa.
