The session will cover reasons for the chronic innovation problem in insurance. Dewald will provide an overview of how technology can unlock opportunities for software innovators in insurance. He will also do a demo of Root's platform which will provide attendees an appreciation for the full insurance value chain and how technology can unlock a new world of innovation in areas such as data science and actuarial functions.
