Stellenbosch University is joining the world in celebrating Earth Day, on Thursday, 22 April 2021, with a weeklong programme to raise awareness around sustainability on our campuses. The theme of Earth Day is Restoring the Earth.

Staff and students who would like to take part in some of these events, can join any of the following events on the Stellenbosch campus:

Wednesday, 21 April 2021: Virtual presentation about SU's Environmental Sustainability program and showcasing the projects to reduce our carbon footprint. To join, click on this link

Thursday, 22 April 2021 at 13h00: Treeplanting at the Ou Hoofgebou

Friday 23 April, 11h00 and 12h00: Die Neelsie PV panel tours

The last two events have a limited capacity due to COVID-19 regulations.
