More about Prof Tania Ajam

Tania Ajam is an Associate Professor in Public Policy, Economics and Finance at the School of Public Leadership at Stellenbosch University.

An economist with broad experience in the design, analysis and implementation of fiscal policy, intergovernmental fiscal relations and government-wide monitoring and evaluation systems, she holds a Master's degree in Business Science (University of Cape Town) and a PhD in Public Management (University of Pretoria).

Tania served on the Financial and Fiscal Commission, and on the Board of the Reserve Bank of South Africa. She is also a member of the Davis Tax Review Committee.
