On 21 February 2019, the Embassy of France in South Africa and Stellenbosch University (SU) will jointly present a French Day. This cultural and academic event seeks to develop French-South African scientific and university cooperation and to promote international student mobility to France, focusing particularly on higher education opportunities and scholarships in France, scientific collaboration prospects as well as French cultural and language experiences for SU staff and students. 

Mr Laurent Amar, Consul General of France in Cape Town, will deliver a speech to Stellenbosch students on the importance of international cooperation to tackle the global challenges that our societies are facing. His presentation will be followed by exchanges with the students. See programme below:
