​Join us for the launch of Transforming Transformation in Research and Teaching at South African Universities, an edited collection by established academics and emerging research students from nine South African universities that gives readers access to students' worlds; how they construct, experience and navigate their complex spheres, on and off campus. Edited by Profs Rob Pattman and Ronelle Carolissen the book exemplifies transformative practices in teaching and research by invoking universities as sites of critical sociological and psychosocial research. CEO of the Human Sciences Research Council Crain Soudien will be the guest speaker at the launch. The book will be sold at the event.
