Stellenbosch University’s Postgraduate
Office is pleased to announce a colloquium for academics, research support
administrators and postgraduates to engage in significant conversations about
the broad postgraduate environment, taking place 12 - 13 July 2018 in Pretoria.
The Enhancing Postgraduate Environments (EPE)
project is an international initiative funded through ther Erasmus+ programme. The partners are
Stellenbosch University, University of the Western Cape, Rhodes University,
University of Fort Hare, University of Zululand, University of
KwaZulu-Natal, Vrije Universiteit
Amsterdam, International Institute of Social Studies Erasmus, African Studies
Centre Leiden, Ruhr-Universität Bochum, the University of Edinburgh and Boğaziçi
University Istanbul, who have worked
in collaboration and shared their expertise to develop a wide range of
interventions designed to support the broad postgraduate environment.
The project’s main form of support is via an
open access website (http://postgradenvironments.com/) that houses a range of South
African contextualized interactive research-related resources and materials
developed by the EPE partner universities, licensed under Creative
Commons. Stellenbosch University academics, support staff and students are encouraged to navigate
this website to garner useful research related information and to download
supporting resources.
