The Enhancing Postgraduate Environments (EPE) project is an international initiative funded through ther Erasmus+ programme. The partners are Stellenbosch University, University of the Western Cape, Rhodes University, University of Fort Hare, University of Zululand, University of KwaZulu-Natal,  Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, International Institute of Social Studies Erasmus, African Studies Centre Leiden, Ruhr-Universität Bochum, the University of Edinburgh and Boğaziçi University Istanbul, who have worked in collaboration and shared their expertise to develop a wide range of interventions designed to support the broad postgraduate environment.

The project’s main form of support is via an open access website (http://postgradenvironments.com/) that houses a range of South African contextualized interactive research-related resources and materials developed by the EPE partner universities, licensed under Creative Commons. Stellenbosch University academics, support staff and students are encouraged to navigate this website to garner useful research related information and to download supporting resources.

The project culminates in a national colloquium taking place during July 2018. Please find the colloquium programme here. For more information about this colloquium and to register, please contact rsvp@postgradenvironments.com directly.
