​The annual Western Cape Service Excellence Awards event was hosted by Premier Helen Zille on 4 December 2018.

The Awards, which started in 2014, have always had the clear purpose of helping to entrench professionalism within the Public Service through the recognition and rewarding of excellence and performance by public servants who have gone beyond the call of duty.  The Telematic Schools Project was awarded silver in the Best Implemented Project category.

We are very proud of this project, which in partnership with the Western Cape Education Department, is a testament to dedication and competence.
