At the tender age of nine, Maties Sport's head coach for women's hockey started playing hockey. Today Lenise Marais is doing her part in developing future national stars as head coach of the South African junior women hockey team that is currently training for the 2022 African Cup of Nations.

“The team's focus going into the tournament will be on executing individual skills and collective game strategies which will help them perform to the best of their ability at the 2022 African Cup of Nations," said Lenise.

The international event is currently taking place in Ghana and will see teams from around the continent competing. We want to extend our good wishes as Lenise and her team battle for the top honours.​
