CHS offers an integrated, easily accessible health service where SU students and staff can find assistance for a range of health concerns. CHS mainly focuses on the following five health care areas: family medicine; health promotion and preventative medicine; sport and exercise medicine; occupational health and physiotherapy.

To visit a doctor, you can make an appointment telephonically or in person. CHS is open daily Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, including University holidays.

CHS has two branches; one situated in Claassen Street on the Stellenbosch campus (between Metanoia and Heemstede residences) and the other one at the student centre on the Tygerberg campus.

They also have a Physio clinic, which is situated at Coetzenburg next to the University Gymnasium.
