​You are invited to the second annual Anton Lubowski Memorial Lecture celebrating the life of anti-apartheid activist and advocate, Anton Theodor Eberhard August Lubowski (3 February 1952 – 12 September 1989).

The Memorial Lecture is presented by Stellenbosch University‘s Development and Alumni Relations Division, in partnership with the Faculty of Law and Simonsberg Men’s Residence.

In accordance with the time in which we find ourselves, this year’s lecture will be hosted online. Please join our speakers, Judge Dennis Davis, Prof PumlaGobodo-Madikizela and Dr Ismail Lagardien as they discuss the topic Social Justice, Quo Vadis – Is Social Justice happening?

Our moderator is Max du Preez, editor of Vrye Weekblad, author, commentator and friend of the late Anton Lubowski.

More on our speakers:
Judge Dennis Davis is a well-known jurist, academic and media perso​nality.
Prof Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela is a psychologist and holds the Research Chair in Studies in Historical Trauma and Transformation at Stellenbosch University.
Dr Ismail Lagardien is a prominent author and commentator.
