In the last five years the challenges and requirements in the logistics sector have increased a lot in Germany. Besides the mega topics of digitalisation and sustainability, companies face new problems like global supply chain disruptions, a high increase in energy costs and the demographical change in Germany. In the presentation I will summarise the main problems and impacts on companies in Germany and provide some ideas on how logistic networks can get more flexible and resilient. As example the automotive sector with the semiconductor supply chain is taken.
