As a postgraduate candidate, a maximum of three programmes is permitted upon application. P​lease ensure that you meet the minimum admission requirements for all your programmes of interest.

Your application for admission to a postgraduate degree programme will ONLY be processed once you have submitted a completed application form and uploaded all your supporting documents before the programme's closing date.

Please note: some programmes may require applicants to consult with a prospective academic supervisor who is active in their field of research interest, prior to submitting a formal application to Stellenbosch University (SU). Applicants require a letter from their supervisor confirming that they are willing to supervise the student before submitting an application. Click he​re ​to view ​information on additional documentation.​​​​​

Some programmes are offered across two faculties. This implies that the programme will reside within the faculty of Science, but hosted by an associated department within another faculty.​
