Basic HIV and HCT short course: This short course offers a theoretical and practical introduction to counselling methods relevant to providing HIV counselling before and after tests. The course is offered annually during the September recess over a period of three days.

Social Justice Facilitation short course: The aim of this short course is to empower students to act as an informal source of information on gender, sexuality, HIV/Aids, discrimination, harassment and victimisation on campus, as well as any other circles of influence in which they operate. It also aims to influence unsupportive attitudes and promote responsible behaviour. In essence, it wants to empower students to serve as a support structure for students in our community. Trained students are empowered to act as educators, role models, referral agents and activists.
