Social and environmental responsibility
The Tygerberg Doctoral Office aspires to inclusive education by operationalising the SU values of excellence, compassion, accountability, respect, and equity. We strive to accomplish this by providing energetic support to each client, and by practicing collegiality towards each other and our SU colleagues.
The team has specifically elected to champion full participation in SU activities by staff and students living with a disability / neurodiversity. FMHS, we call on you to support
SA Casual Day and stop in at our
Annual Academic Day stand for relevant information.
SU community members living with a disability - we are learning; please share your specific needs or requests with us.
The Tygerberg Doctoral Office also aims to cap our carbon footprint by providing 95% paperless
services, and by reserving printing as far as possible for occasions where this will add specific and well-considered value on site. This effort supports the ambition of our dean and faculty to achieve a zero waste campus.
