​About Legal Services

​

Legal Services forms part of the Registrar's Division and provide legal advice and support to the students (in limited cases), the staff and the management of Stellenbosch University, with the exception of the Divisions of Human Resources, Innovus, and Research Development, as these 3 division have their own legal teams.

Our small, dynamic team consists of 11 members, namely a Senior Director, 3 Legal advisors, a Legal Compliance Officer, Student Discipline head, an Investigation Officer and 4 Administrators in support of the duties of the 4 branches of Legal Services, which are namely Legal Service and Support, Commercial Contracts, Student Discipline and Legal Compliance.
