Psychotherapy is a process where you can discuss personal, distressing emotional problems or issues. with a professional psychologist that you would like to solve. Together, you and the psychologist work on solutions for your problems. This process could include the acquisition of new skills, the reaching of a better understanding of existing problems or the assimilation of difficult and/or traumatic events.

What you can expect from your psychotherapist
During your first visit, your psychologist will enquire about the reason(s) for your visit and will obtain all the required information from you. Based on the information obtained, you and your therapist should conclude an appropriate intervention.
