The Post Graduate Diploma (Higher Education) (Teaching & Learning) is a two-year, part-time programme aimed at extending the professional learning of academics in practice. It is offered on a regional platform together with the University of the Western Cape (UWC) and the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT).
The programme consists of three core modules and one elective module:
Teaching and Learning in Higher Education;
Assessment in Higher Education;
Research for Enhancing Teaching and Learning;
One Elective module - selected from a range of options:

Academic Leadership and Management;

Postgraduate Supervision;

ICTs for Teaching and Learning;

Citizenship, Social Inclusion and Difference;

Service Learning and Community Engagement;

Work and Learning; and

Recognition of Prior Learning.
