CARMA endeavours to involve a number of allied members in relevant fields, including, but not limited to, clinical departments, research institutions such as the MRC, and bioinformatics.
CARMA's existence will be directly aligned with several institutional, national and international goals. For example, it remains robustly aligned with SU's Vision 2030 to be inclusive, innovative and future-focused in order to advance knowledge in the service of all stakeholders. In addition, it is focused on implementing SU's overarching strategic priorities:
- broadening access
- sustaining excellence
- enhancing social impact.
