This programme prepares you for the occupational therapist profession. It equips you with the knowledge and instils the skills and attitudes that you will need to provide clients/patients with a professional occupational therapy service within a team context. You learn how to plan suitable treatment programmes for people with various dysfunctions. You also learn to advise other people who are involved in a supportive role - for instance primary school teachers, employers or relatives - to indirectly address problems that may affect functioning in specific environments. The occupational therapist has a role to play in the prevention of problems that may affect everyday functioning as well as in contributing to the promotion of people's health.
