It is time for the next "Science Fridays @ Stellenbosch"

The speaker this month is a dynamic (read dynamite!) role model in science communication:

"Confessions of a communicating scientist – how public engagement is shaping my research career and making me a better scientist" featuring Prof Nox Makunga, Department of Botany and Zoology @ Stellenbosch University.

There will be time for questions and for audience members to share their creative science communication tips!

Science Fridays @ Stellenbosch is an opportunity for lively debate about issues at the interface of science and society. It is free and open to anyone interested in how science connects with our daily lives.

This series of public science events will be hosted by the Centre for Research on Evaluation, Science and Technology (CREST) at SU. CREST hosts South Africa's first Chair in Science Communication (SciCOM), as well as a Centre of Excellence in Science, Technology and Innovation Policy (SciSTIP).​
