The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, the Equality Unit and Division: Student Affairs invite you to Confronting barriers to inclusion for the LGBTQIA+ community, a panel discussion in the lead-up to Pride Month in October.
The panel discussion will focus on allyship, what allyship looks like on campus, access to healthcare and safe spaces for the LGBTQIA+ community, and mental health challenges. Discussion moderator, Fanele Ndebele, will be joined by Nicole Alexander, Director of Pride Shelter Trust, Leon Coetzee, incoming SPECTRUM! Chairperson, and Elliott Kotze, psychologist.
