On 31 August and 1 September the Faculty of Law, Stellenbosch University will host a colloquium to reflect on the jurisprudence of the Constitutional Court over the past two decades in the field of labour and social protection law. Presenters include not only seasoned practitioners and academics from South Africa, but also a number of international colleagues. In particular, we are honoured to welcome Prof Sandy Fredman (Oxford), Prof Judy Fudge (McMaster University, Canada), Prof Manfred Weiss (Germany) and Prof Grega Strban (University of Ljubljana) to give the discussion a comparative flavour. The colloquium is also designed to honour the contributions of Professors Evance Kalula and Marius Olivier to this field of law. 

We invite all interested persons to join us in Stellenbosch for the colloquium. There is a registration fee, which includes attendance of the dinner in honour of Professors Kalula and Olivier and a cocktail function at the conclusion of the colloquium.
